First of all, the text "Tropicana" is horizontal which makes it very easy to read. Also, the orange with the straw going through it is an appealing image and it makes the drink seem healthy. However, the new design is very very simple and doesn't really show anything unique. It seemed generic and the new design definitely confuses the consumers. On top of all that, the brand name is vertical and it is very hard to read in just a glance. Tropicana wasted 35 million dollars on a design that no one liked at all.
